The principals

Two people. One house.

Stephen O'Hearn and Ken Greenwood conduct 5th Symphony. One comes from Space Command mission assurance and the page. The other from enterprise systems, photography, and an AI-forward film studio. The products are the work of that pairing.

Stephen O'Hearn

Principal

Colorado Springs, Colorado

Stephen A. O'Hearn is a U.S. Army combat veteran, screenwriter, and technology founder. He served as a combat medic on three tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, later as a military intelligence officer, and is a survivor of the September 11 attacks.

At U.S. Space Command he built and ran mission-assurance assessment work for the J34 division: characterizing critical space infrastructure, scoring assets by the consequence of loss, and informing senior command of space-asset status. That experience — never treat missing evidence as a green light — is the same doctrine SpaceXen encodes as No Fake Green.

He is founder and CEO of StoryXen Studios, a production-intelligence company that connects script, budget, schedule, and compliance into one source of truth. His first feature, Over the Berm, drawn from a Wall Street executive who became a combat medic after 9/11, received an Office of the Chief of Public Affairs–Los Angeles letter of support and is in development as a limited series. His produced works are WGA-West certified.

At 5th Symphony he holds the mission and story line of the family: SpaceXen for operational assurance, and the studio that Nucleus is built to run.

Ken Greenwood

Principal

Knoxville, Tennessee

Ken Greenwood is a software founder, systems architect, and filmmaker. He is president of Modus Novus, a software and SAP consulting practice that has served Fortune 500 technical teams for decades, and CEO and founder of Shredded Lens Studios, an AI-forward independent film studio.

He is the author of Sam's Teach Yourself ABAP in 21 Days (Macmillan, 1998) and an SAP-certified ABAP specialist with a 99.5 certification score. Colleagues describe a rare combination: extraordinary depth in enterprise systems, and the willingness to sit down and deliver the work. He is also an accomplished photographer — including a Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History recognition for wilderness landscape work — and a practicing director.

Through Shredded Lens he is building a decentralized, AI-enhanced production model: train artists, plug them into a studio-guided pipeline, and release work with distribution in mind. Nucleus, the production operating system in this family, comes from that same studio lineage.

At 5th Symphony he holds the systems and studio-craft line of the family: the architecture under Nucleus, the product discipline under SpaceXen, and the infrastructure that lets Studio Ultra make pictures.
